Meet the Makers
Martin (Owner)
Martin is a lifelong gamer and fantasy enthusiast with an endless love for world-building. He’s the author of the Magic of Solendrea fantasy series, where he first began weaving realms filled with heroes, quests, and untold wonders. These days, Martin spends more time imagining new worlds, shaping colorful NPCs, and crafting campaign settings than sitting at the table himself. When he’s not designing dice towers, potion kits, and enchanted wands, you’ll likely find him exploring Disney parks or dreaming up the next adventure to share with fellow travelers on the road of imagination.
Barbara (Co-Owner)
Barbara brings her own spark of magic to Cauldron and Compass. A Disney fan at heart and Xbox adventurer at night, she thrives on both digital and tabletop journeys—Catan and Ticket to Ride being among her favorites. She also excels at customer service, making sure every adventurer who visits our shop feels seen, valued, and delighted. Whether she’s gathering resources, claiming railways, or helping design the perfect potion kit, Barbara adds joy, creativity, and care to everything she touches.

Our story began under the name Archive Arcanus, a hidden vault of fantasy curiosities. As our vision grew, so did our identity…transforming into Cauldron and Compass, a name that reflects both the tools of creation and the spirit of exploration.
